Sports and photography have been the two constants in my life since I can remember. Lucky for me, they are a natural fit.

I started shooting sports when I was a kid myself, but InsideTheAction wasn't born until I had my own kids who were into sports. It started with shooting their games. Then it turned into shooting games of their friends. Then local tournaments.

ISU's hockey coach got wind of my work and asked me to shoot some of their games to help promote their team. The media director of the Bloomington Prairie Thunder then saw that work and asked if I would shoot some for them. He was also the media director for the Bloomington Extreme indoor football team.

But the highlight of my photography career came when Colorado Springs called and asked if I would be interested in shooting the USA Mens Olympic Volleyball team who was going to be in town for a couple of exhibition games.

It's amazing where life goes sometimes, so enjoy the ride while you can.
